i know i've mentioned maira kalman before, but i can't help doing it again - she just keeps telling my favourite kind of stories.

Sideways, I love your blog! Been following it for a couple of months, now, and you always seem to make me feel hopeful/sad. Thanks. By the way, I was at one of the Art Center Design Conferences a couple of years ago where Ms. Kalman gave a talk. She was the best thing about the whole experience!
